Hi all, Alex here - I run Code for Creatives. I also was Sublime's head of creative for a year back before we'd launched publicly to the world and I gotta say, the thought of doing a C4C cohort with Sublime is sort of blowing my mind.

My time at Sublime was so so so essential to helping me figure out who I was as a creative person, an artist, a human being, and so much of that revolved around defining my own taste. Or not even my taste, but my ability to know what it meant to define my own taste. How to know what I liked and what was worth saving. All of that (and so so so much more) happened because I got to work alongside Sari and Gabe and all of you.

Which brings me here, to this cohort. I genuinely believe that, when used the right way, AI can be insanely helpful for creative people. By automating and delegating all the boring stuff, I now have so much more time and mental space for the weird stuff that I love doing. And the act of building stuff inside Claude Code is itself super creative. It feels like building stuff as a teenager in my bedroom back when the internet came through a dial up modem, Napster was king, and anything was possible.

It was fun. This feels fun again, especially when I'm teaching other people to do it too. Community was always the whole point, and I can't wait to welcome y'all into the C4C universe.
