The post describes how I developed an efficient workflow for creating presentation slides using Claude Code. I initially attempted PowerPoint slides, which proved cumbersome with multiple text blocks and difficult repositioning.
After discovering HTML-based slides worked better, I realized I could streamline the process further. My breakthrough came from simply asking Claude to create online slides I could review and edit, then send back for revisions.
My current workflow: Open slides in a browser, edit text directly, add notes like “add a slide after this that says I AM NOT AN EXPERT,” and paste the feedback into Claude Code for rapid regeneration.
The core insight I want to emphasize is straightforward: “The only thing standing between people doing cool weird stuff is their own fear of trying.”
I note I’m currently teaching a course called Code for Creatives, which helps non-coders build projects using AI tools. The post demonstrates how asking clear questions and iterating with AI can solve practical creative problems efficiently.
This shit’s crazy, man. YOU CAN JUST ASK lol. It’s simple and obvious but hugely underutilized.
